John,
Big news in the special election to replace Ken Buck and in our ongoing fight to kick Lauren Boebert out of Congress:
The Republican committee to select the party's nominee chose Greg Lopez, a twice-failed candidate for Governor. The upshot is this: Lopez is not a candidate on the ballot for the June primary, and he has pledged to stay out of it. He was chosen as a "placeholder" candidate who would not disrupt the GOP primary.
This is fantastic news for Lauren "Beetlejuice" Boebert, who declined to run in the special election. Her dream of carpetbagging across the state to stay in Congress is still alive and well.
