#VoteUninstructed: Let President Biden know that Wisconsin stands against genocide Dear Email, Amid the horrifying news coming out of Gaza every day and our government’s continued complicity, AJP Action is officially supporting the vital effort to vote “uninstructed” on April 2nd in the Wisconsin Democratic Presidential Primary. On behalf of the communities we represent and our values as an organization dedicated to peace, justice, democracy, and human rights, we are officially announcing our endorsement of the Wisconsin Uninstructed campaign of Listen to Wisconsin and the Uncommitted National Movement. This effort uses the April 2nd primary in Wisconsin—a key state for electoral victory in November—as a chance to urgently protest the White House’s support of Israel’s genocidal war in Gaza. These votes, like the uncommitted votes in Michigan and Minnesota, send a clear message to the administration that they must listen to a majority of voters who want to see a permanent ceasefire now. Just 20,000 votes, a number smaller than the Muslim American community in Wisconsin, is needed to send this message. The demands are simple: a permanent ceasefire now, full entry of humanitarian aid and restoring aid to UNRWA, an end to military aid to Israel, and an end to the siege on Palestinians in Gaza. Take action to help turn out “uninstructed” votes in the vital swing state of Wisconsin before April 2nd: - The campaign needs our help – find volunteer opportunities for phone banking or friend banking, take a shift or two!
- Amplify the campaign on social media by boosting @listentowisconsin content (IG, Facebook, etc.) or sharing in your group chats, with family, friends, and community.
- We ask all of our Wisconsin members to join the pledge to bubble in “uninstructed delegation” on April 2nd and to help us amplify the message.
- On April 2nd or in early voting through Saturday, March 29th, choose “Democratic” for the primary you want to vote in, and then bubble in “uninstructed delegation” in the Democratic primary section of your ballot. Check your voter registration and polling place here. If you feel inclined, post a photo and tag @listentowisconsin when you’ve voted to share with friends!
