Yesterday, Lucas released his first television ad of 2024 — have you seen it yet?
This ad isn’t just a first for our campaign. It’s also the first ad about IVF released by any Senate candidate in the country.
That’s because the nationwide fight for reproductive freedom has roots right here in Missouri, where Josh Hawley has worked obsessively to maintain control over how people build their families. It’s all part of his career-long crusade to strip away fundamental healthcare — from contraception to abortion, and now IVF.
But Missourians are fired up and ready to fight back this year. Just like we’ve seen in red states across the country — and even in deep-red Alabama earlier this week — voters are taking back their power at the ballot box, holding these control-obsessed politicians accountable for stripping away reproductive rights.
It’s not hard to see why, just minutes after its release, this ad already garnered national attention. Reproductive freedom is on the line in Missouri this year:
