Dear Fellow New Yorkers,

On April 1st, New York State’s budget approval will be finalized. As a member of the New York Immigration Coalition, MCN has joined the call to ensure that the $150M budget increase proposed by Care4IF will be included in the State budget and the Access to Representation Act in NYS ([link removed]) can be passed.

With your help and support, New York can lead the path to accessible representation in immigration courts!

How You Can Help:
Contact Your Representative: Using the link above, contact your representatives and Governor Hochul to urge them to support this fiscal investment in immigration to keep families together and help immigrants become citizens.

Spread the Word: Encourage family, friends, and neighbors to join this cause. We have until April 1st to procure this budget increase, so share these links with your community to help make immigration more equitable.

Revolutionizing Immigration Court: Unlike other US courts, the right to representation does not yet exist in Immigration Court. By providing funding and access to such representation we can help more people become US citizens and change Immigration Court forever.

With this funding we can provide support, education, and resources to maintain the dignity of persons immigrating to the US.
