Donald Trump can’t become President again if he doesn’t win Michigan. In 2016, Trump’s unexpected wins in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin gave him the Presidency. The margin in Michigan was just 10,000 votes in an election where more than 4.5 million Michiganders voted.

Friend,

Donald Trump will be in West Michigan next week, his second stop here in less than a month. I’ll tell you why his campaign has made Michigan such a key part of its 2024 election strategy, but before I do, I need to ask you something important.

We’re less than 72 hours from our first end-of-quarter deadline of 2024, and we’ve set an ambitious goal of raising $20,000 before the end of March. These goals aren’t arbitrary, friend. Defeating Donald Trump and keeping Michigan blue takes a tremendous amount of resources, and a huge part of that comes from small donations from grassroots supporters like you.

So, please, if you’re able, donate $25 or more to the Michigan Victory Fund today >>>

In the years following that heartbreaking loss, we got to work. We ensured Joe Biden defeated Donald Trump in 2020, and Michigan Democrats swept the 2022 midterms. We even made history by enshrining reproductive freedom in Michigan’s constitution.

So, after all of our victories, why does Trump think he can win Michigan in 2024?

Well, in six March polls of Michigan voters, Trump led Joe Biden in every single one. While most showed the race within the margin of error, a CNN poll from last week showed Trump ahead by 8.

Let me be clear about something—we have seven months to tell the story about all the good that Joe Biden and Democrats have done for Michigan over the last four years. When voters hear that story and compare it with the chaos, dysfunction, and division that defined the Trump presidency, I believe that Michigan will go bright blue once again.

But right now, friend, that outcome is far from being a given. It depends entirely on how hard we are willing to work in the days and months ahead.

So please, do your part to ensure we win in Michigan by contributing $25 or more to the Michigan Victory Fund before our first major fundraising deadline of 2024.

If you’ve made it this far, thanks for reading my message. I’m more grateful than ever for your support.

Debbie
