John,

SCOTUS is set to decide on a case that could lead to the ban of Mifepristone, one of two drugs used for medication abortion in the U.S.

Mifepristone has been FDA-approved for 23 years. It’s safe. It’s effective. And it’s in jeopardy.

Let’s get one thing clear — this far-right, extreme Supreme Court won’t stop us. As someone who has had abortions, Cori is relentlessly fighting to affirm abortion care as a human right; and fighting to expand access to life-saving healthcare.

In fact, she is the first lawmaker in the post-Dobbs era to call to repeal the Comstock Act – an outdated law from 1873 that makes mailing "obscene" materials, like contraceptives and abortion medication, illegal. Nearly 150 Republican Members of Congress asked the Supreme Court to revive the law as a justification to roll back access to Mifepristone…

While the Comstock Act is a zombie statute, far-right politicians are attempting to revive the dead law as a quick route to a nationwide medication abortion ban. But we won’t let them.

St. Louis, you have a champion in Cori. She’s working day-in and day-out to reject the GOP’s attempts to restrict access to safe and legal abortion care – and she’s not backing down. Will you support her mission to expand reproductive rights by donating to her campaign before our end-of-quarter deadline this Sunday?

In solidarity,

Team Cori
