Greetings #TeamAlsobrooks!

We are expressing our deepest condolences to the families of the victims
of the devastating Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse. We grieve with the
families of Alejandro Hernandez Fuentes and Dorlian Ronial Castillo
Cabrera, who lost their lives during the accident. We continue to pray for
the victims – including those still missing, their families, and the
people of Baltimore. We must stand together to uplift the Baltimore region
as they recover from this horrific event.

From the Campaign Trail and Beyond…

As the great former Senator Barbara Mikulski said, “Each one of us can
make a difference. Together we make change.” Team Alsobrooks is doing just
that. We are truly amazed to have the support of so many Marylanders. Our
grassroots movement is key to keeping the Senate blue and defeating
Senator Mitch McConnell’s hand-picked candidate Larry Hogan come November.

In case you missed it, Team Alsobrooks has been honored to have earned
some critical endorsements in this race, just in the last week. Here are
some highlights:

Monday, Angela was endorsed by Congressman Jamie Raskin. In a [ [link removed] ]video
announcing his support, Rep Raskin said:

“I’m supporting Angela Alsobrooks for the U.S. Senate because she’s going
to deliver for the people of Maryland everyday while defending democracy
and freedom against Donald Trump and his MAGA party. She can defeat Larry
Hogan in November and prevent extremists from taking control of the
Senate.”

We are proud to have him on our team. You can find more about why Rep.
Raskin endorsed Angela in this [ [link removed] ]Washington Post article.

Angela was also proud to receive endorsements from Congressional Black
Caucus members, Congresswoman Barbara Lee (CA-12), Congresswoman Joyce
Beatty (OH-03), Congressman Gregory Meeks (NY-5), Congresswoman Yvette D.
Clarke (NY-9), and Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett (TX-30), longtime public
servants who are supporting Angela because of her record of getting things
done for Maryland.

“I am thrilled to endorse Angela Alsobrooks for U.S. Senate. Angela is not
just a leader; she's a trailblazer who has consistently stood up for
families and worked tirelessly for the betterment of Maryland,” said
Congresswoman Clarke. “Her vision and integrity make her the best choice
to represent Maryland in the Senate, where I am confident she will
continue to fight for justice and equality.”

[ [link removed] ][IMG]

Angela also earned the endorsement of former Prince George’s County
Executive, Rushern Baker. In a [ [link removed] ]Washington Post article, Mr Baker said:

“I’m supporting my good friend Angela to be Maryland’s next United States
Senator because I worked alongside her for eight years and I know her
heart and her passion for serving people. Angela has the knowledge,
temperament and vision to lead Maryland forward when she gets to the
Senate. I’m getting off the sidelines now because I believe she is the
strongest candidate to take on Larry Hogan in the General Election. We
need a disciplined candidate who can turn out the Democratic base. That’s
why I’m all in for Angela, and I encourage all Prince Georgians and
Marylanders to join me.”

Team Alsobrooks is appreciative to Rep. Raskin, Rep. Lee, Rep. Meeks, Rep.
Beatty, Rep. Clarke, Rep. Crockett, and Mr. Baker for their kind and
powerful words. We are thrilled to have the support of people who have
dedicated their lives to improving their communities. Team Alsobrooks is
taking that energy all the way to Capitol Hill!

This race will be won by the power of the many, not the power of money. In
order to win, we need people across Maryland to come together and support
our grassroots campaign by telling their friends and neighbors about
Angela, making calls, and knocking on doors. Marylanders deserve a Senator
who will fight for equality, economic opportunity for all of our
communities, access to affordable healthcare, and safe communities.

Last Friday, there was great energy at the New Psalmist Baptist Church and
League of Women Voters Forum in Baltimore. As our campaign continues to
grow, we remain committed to going farther and doing better for every
Marylander in our State.

Angela’s dad, Mac Alsobrooks, has been campaigning by her side since her
first election in 2010, and Team Alsobrooks is lucky to have his energy
behind us! Last Saturday, he hosted a phenomenal Men for Alsobrooks event
in Upper Marlboro.

While in Frederick we had a robust conversation about what can be done to
improve the livelihoods of Veterans in Maryland. Our vets have served our
country and now that they’re back home it’s crucial we give them the
resources they deserve to be successful and healthy.

[ [link removed] ][IMG]

The energy at our meet and greet in Frederick was electric! We are elated
to have earned the support of so many people and communities across our
state.

We attended the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s U.S. Senate Candidate
Forum. Every community and Marylander deserves a Senator who listens to
their concerns and fights like everything for them. Angela plans to go
farther and do better for every single Marylander.

We had a very important discussion with a group of women in Frederick
about the necessity to expand access to reproductive medicine and to
protect IVF. Thank you to everyone who came out and shared their stories.

What a blessing to participate in Palm Sunday Services at Mount Pleasant
Baptist Church in Baltimore City/County. It was so great to join others in
fellowship on such a Holy day.

[ [link removed] ][IMG]

We were overjoyed to attend a gathering hosted by Sen. Shelly Hettleman in
Owings Mills. We are in awe of all she does for women throughout Maryland,
fighting for abortion rights and access to reproductive care - it is so
wonderful to have her support in this race. Pleasure seeing our friends
Councilman Julian Jones and Delegate N. Scott Phillips as always!

[ [link removed] ][IMG]

We had an excellent time attending the Omicron Phi Zeta Chapter of Zeta
Phi Beta’s P.E.A.R.L Anniversary. Thank you for inviting us to celebrate
with all of you on this wonderful occasion!

[ [link removed] ][IMG]

What an honor to be in Annapolis to give remarks at the Michelle Obama
Awards and Women’s History Month Celebration! This year’s honorees have
all done tremendous work promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in
their communities, and are paving the path for the next generation of
leaders in Maryland.
