Here in my home state of California, we were hit particularly hard by Governor Gavin Newsom – who unconstitutionally banned millions of Americans from attending church and practicing their faith.
But as you know, the Center for American Liberty stepped in and immediately launched a lawsuit that gained national attention – Gish v. Newsom.
For months, we argued our case in front of the District Court and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. But no matter how compelling our arguments, the lower courts wouldn’t hear it.
Our attorneys did not back down.
Like you and me, our entire team here at the Center for American Liberty believes our First Amendment rights to free speech, freedom of assembly, freedom of the press, freedom to petition the government and – most importantly – freedom of religion are non-negotiable.
That’s why we took Gish v. Newsom all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court.
And we won.
Since then, we’ve won two more cases before the U.S. Supreme Court and countless other victories protecting your freedom to say what you want, to live according to your conscience, and to pass on your conservative values to the next generation.
