KANSAS IS TRUMP COUNTRY!       DEFENDING KANSAS SAVING AMERICA   DONATE VOLUNTEER   Happy Easter! And in the still quiet air, they all stood there in silent amazement, not believing their eyes. The massive tombstone had been moved aside. And Jesus’ body was gone. Left behind were garments and wraps lying on the floor, except for the face cover which was neatly folded. Similar to napkins at the dinner table setting when the diners excuse themselves, His folded face cover was Jesus messaging, “I’m not finished. I’ll be back.” Some had doubts. Some reasoned his body had been stolen in the dark of night. But others remembered his words and they truly knew what had happened. The scene was one of fear and doubt in some and hope and joy were in a faithful few, much like the world today. Jesus had indeed conquered death. In that tomb he arose and conquered death. And the world was shown the way as promised by the Savior. The simple promise is that all believers, too, could forever escape death and avoid damnation in hell. Faith was, and is, the way - but it is a choice. Our God chose this holy transformation of his Son from mortal human back to a deity to forge our Belief and Faith, and to show us that Love itself is the bridge from this world to Heaven. "And now these three remain faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love." ~ 1 Corinthians 13:13 He is Risen! Happy Easter! Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know not what they do.”     A Special Prayer for Kansas Legislators Please join me in praying for all Members of the Kansas Legislature. It has been a long session that isn't yet done. And upon sine die, most of the House and Senate members will return home and begin the arduous process of running for re-election in the blazing summer sun. Late nights, early mornings, fast food, candy bars, and an adult beverage here and there, and it's easy to see how difficult it is to maintain a healthy lifestyle while doing the people’s work. And then there is that age-old problem of simply getting older and dealing with the same physical ailments and struggles everyone else deals with every day. Folks working daily on our behalf are human, too, and some are dealing with problems we know nothing about. Let's all join together and lift up these Kansans in prayer who may, or may not, be dealing with a struggle. Your prayer may just the thing they need. A prayer for our state leaders Heavenly Father, just as you gave wisdom to Moses to appoint elders among the Israelites, you blessed our founders with the wisdom to divide our country into individual states. You have empowered our governors and state legislatures to make laws and decrees which manage our daily lives, make our lives safe, and protect us from federal government overreach. Please give strength and wisdom to them and guide their decisions and may they always put love first. Surround them with people from all walks of life and many backgrounds. Bring to them people of high moral character and spiritual maturity. Among the many voices which cry out to them every day, may they hear your voice above all others. As we look to our legislature for assurance and guidance, especially at times of crisis, inspire them and speak through them by the power of your Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name. Amen     🚨 🚨 🚨 SPECIAL PRAYER REQUEST 🚨 🚨 🚨 State Representative Mike Houser has been diagnosed with cancer. He is in a tough battle, but he is determined to win this fight. Please keep him in your prayers.     $1.2 Trillion Dollar Spending Package Passes Congress   In a controversial move, the House approved a comprehensive $1.2 trillion government funding bill with a vote of 286-134 last Friday, just hours before the shutdown deadline loomed. Crafted by House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., along with input from the White House, the bill covers departments like Homeland Security, State, Labor, Defense, and Health and Human Services. This appropriation, combined with the previously passed $459 billion bill earlier in the month, ensures full federal government funding of $1.659 trillion through September 2024, ending months of temporary funding measures and negotiations. Despite earlier tensions, Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., opted not to pursue removing Johnson from the speaker position, citing concerns about potential Democratic successors. The Senate swiftly followed suit with a procedural advancement vote of 78-18. However, unanimous Senate approval is required to bypass the remaining obstacles and pass the bill before midnight. Failure to do so would trigger a partial government shutdown on Saturday. As Chairman of the Kansas Republican Party, it is incumbent upon me to point out that Republicans are the party of lower taxes, smaller government and more freedom. Our KSGOP Platform clearly states this fact. Excerpt from the Kansas Republican Party Platform Our elected Republican officials across Kansas are encouraged to re-read the Kansas Republican Party Constitution and By-laws and the Platform of the Kansas Republican Party. The base grassroots of the Kansas Republican Party has been very vocal to me about the passage of the massive spending package. These Kansas Republicans have every right - and responsibility - to hold our officials accountable to these documents and tenants as these are the very foundational principles of Republicanism. As the chairman of this party, it is not my job to tell our Republican electeds how to vote. It is my job to remind our electeds they should be referencing the Kansas Republican Party Constitution, By-laws, and Platform and castvtheir votes accordingly. It is also my responsibility to share with them the positive and negstive feedback I receive from the grassroots base. In that spirit and vein, and specifically for those who voted for the $1.2T spending package, please hear me loud and clear: the base is mad as hell.     Avalanche of Fundraising Emails & Texts Frustrating, Confusing Guide to Decoding What is Real and What is Not As the avalanche of political campaign texts and emails innundate your email inbox or texting app, brace yourself, because there is a mountain more coming and it appears, at least for now, they're here to stay. The volume will intensify as we move closer to the 2024 August Primary Elections and the November General Elections. And the Federal Communications Commission corroborates this, stating that election seasons invariably usher in a barrage of political communications. With millennials and Gen Z emerging as rising pivotal voter blocks, campaigns are adapting their strategies. Millennials' aversion to phone calls and Gen Z's apprehension towards them have made text messaging a vital campaign tool. The tactical shift towards texts has seen a 57% decrease in political campaign calls, often referred to as robo-calls. Factors like scam calls, including AI-generated Trump impersonations, contribute to this trend. Despite FCC restrictions, political texts can reach even those on the National Do Not Call registry, pointing to protected free speech in campaigns as exempt versus calls for products or services. As the election frenzy escalates, brace yourself for an onslaught of political emails and texts that are here to stay, shaping the digital landscape of modern political discourse. If all of the madness is driving you crazy, here are some handy tips to help decipher what is real and what is not regarding campaign fundraising emails and text messages. Only send money to trusted sources who you are familiar with. Just because you recognize the name on the email does not mean that person or that organization sent the communication, nor does it mean that is where your money is going if you donate a link message. Always scroll to the bottom of a text or an email and read the “paid for by” at the end of the message. This disclaimer is required by law both in Kansas and federally. The information in the “paid for by” should be deemed accurate as there are stiff penalties and fines associated with misleading a donor or recipient of the message without the appropriate disclaimer. You will notice at the very bottom of this email the quote “paid for by” the Kansas Republican Party, Inc. for example. Only donate money when you are sure you know where it is going or because you have donated there before and have established a trust. If you are doubtful, always check it out before you donate money. Additionally, do not click the unsubscribe button on these messages. If you are unfamiliar with who is sending to you, there is a good probability that it is a scam, and when you click unsubscribe, you have just confirmed that your email address or phone number is a working line of communication, and your email address or phone number will then be sold into other lists. At that point, you can expect Mount Everest of emails or text messages! Don’t do it! If all else fails and you just arent sure, feel free to contact the Kansas Republican Party for clarification and we will be happy to check it for you. Happy donating! Trump     Sharice Davids Votes Against Protecting Your Family in Mayorkas Impeachment Sharice Davids, KS CD-3, twice voted “no” on the impeachment of failed Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. Leading up to and following the first impeachment vote, House Speaker Mike Johnson declined to vote on a bill sent by the U.S. Senate for military aid to Ukraine, citing the absence of provisions for U.S. border security. The political maneuvering forced a bright light on the importance of the U.S./Mexico border and drew criticism from Democratic representative Davids, who accused politicians of playing games. With Republicans eyeing the upcoming elections, the focus on border issues will intensify. A decrease in illegal crossings this January has been noted due to Texas Governor Abbott blocking the border in that state with the help of many other states from across the Union. Assistance of Kansas National Guard on this important matter did not come from Kansas as ultra-liberal and divisive Kansas Governor Laura Kelly ignored the majority of Kansans and sat silent taking no action whatsoever. The impeachment, based on allegations of incompetence, passed narrowly. Senate support for conviction remains uncertain but Kansans encourage their U.S. Senators to support the impeachment of Mayorkas. Border security consistently ranks high on the overall concerns of Kansans and Americans. U.S. Border Security must be a priority shown by our elected officials to maintain the support of Kansas Republicans. In Kansas' 3rd Congressional District, immigration and border security are of critical importance and related issues resonate across political divides. As the campaign unfolds, the border debate will intersect with broader political narratives, shaping the electoral landscape in Kansas CD-3 and beyond. Republicans in CD-3 are encouraged to look into their current member of Congress’s voting record and discover for themselves that we have our very own Nancy Pelosi - right here in Kansas.     Numinar Data Analytics World-Class Platform Offered Free to Kansas Republican Candidates and Campaigns     The Kansas Republican Party has partnered with the amazing folks at Numinar to - again - provide access to the Numinar Data Analytics Platform at no cost to registered Kansas Republicans who simply ask for access. CLICK HERE Send a strong and bold message to ultra-liberal Kansas Governor Laura Kelly to support Texas’ efforts to secure our southern border. Kansas should be supporting the state of Texas’ efforts to secure our southern border since Joe Biden & Company have abdicated their constitutional responsibility. There is nothing controversial about securing and defending our border, but Laura Kelly continues doddering instead of engaging as most Kansans’ would prefer. Every State is a Border State Laura Kelly claims to be “middle of the road,” but that statement doesn't apply to “middle of the border”. Governor Kelly’s silence on this issue is both stunning and shameful. So why is ultra-liberal Kansas Governor Kelly so quiet? That's an excellent question.
