Friend, As the Easter holiday approaches, I want to wish you and your family all the joy and peace that comes with the celebration of the Resurrection. Easter Sunday is always a reminder that in the face of daily burdens, we must seek and find comfort in His presence. No matter how great the challenge, there is always hope, and through our faith, we can overcome any obstacle. "As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man, dressed in a white robe, sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed. But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed; you are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has been raised; he is not here. Look, there is the place they laid him." Mark 16:5-6 This Easter, I am reflecting on the many blessings in my life. I am blessed to have a wonderful family – my two sons, Max and Jax, and my husband, Matt – as well as my extended family and friends. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve my fellow Iowans every day and for my faith that grounds and guides me along the way. During the holidays, I am always reminded of our law enforcement, first responders, and servicemembers who spend these precious moments away from their families so that we can enjoy time with ours. I am grateful for their service to our nation and the sacrifices they make to keep our country safe. Have a wonderful Easter weekend. Best, Stay Connected Facebook Twitter Instagram Rep.
