As the impacts to American families stemming from the global COVID-19 pandemic are evolving daily, so are the immediate responses by our federal government and financial institutions.  Access to housing and housing stability are integral to both the urgent assistance needed now and our future national recovery, with low- and moderate-income renters and homeowners particularly vulnerable to loss of income or layoffs.

Please join Grounded Solutions Network with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and the National Low Income Housing Coalition Wednesday, March 15, 2020 to learn more about the emerging types of federal relief and stimulus packages available, with a focus on affordable housing-related supports  for organizations, families being served, and the communities we are all striving to assist in this crisis. During the online webinar, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae will present  current relief options they are offering to prevent evictions and the adverse consequences of mortgage delinquencies. Speakers will also address how the COVID-19 pandemic may affect borrowers who are buying or refinancing a home.

This intermediate level course reviews the contractual mandates and organizational mechanisms of monitoring, enforcement and stewardship, with a special focus on the challenges arising as a result of the current COVID-19 pandemic – loss of income, health issues and medical bills, and changes in the way we are able to work.
