Wednesday Extreme policies from liberals in Oregon, coupled with weak border security, have led to a drug crisis that is out of control. Rep. Lori Chavez-DeRemer (OR-05) highlighted how Portland police have already seized over 230,000 fentanyl pills and 22 pounds of powdered fentanyl – more than all of 2023 – as well as her commitment to combatting the crisis. Thursday Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA), along with 11 of her Republican colleagues on the Senate Armed Services Committee, shared a letter they sent to President Biden with their concerns over the administration’s operation to build a pier in Gaza.
