*About the?**Equity & Employee Development (EED) Division*
EED helps agencies create a healthy work culture by acting as a central source for agencies to receive assistance, guidance, and services in finding talent, job/career development, and employee wellbeing. The mission of EED is to help attract and retain a highly motivated, engaged, and skilled workforce. EED embeds a DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) lens into all of our work, grounding our services in an anti-racist and intersectional equity lens.

The?*Small Agency EED Office?*supports the*?*work of creating a culture of equity and inclusion across all DES? small agency customers. Acting as a liaison between DES and the Office of Equity, this office will ensure that all small agencies have the resources to deliver culturally relevant, equitable, barrier-free services that are fully inclusive of all identities and that do not replicate systems of oppression.

*About the Opportunity*
The?*Small Agency Pro-Equity Consultant* is a new role, focused on helping small agencies set and achieve their equity goals and drive business results by leveraging proprietary tools to adopt, execute, and institutionalize the leading standards for pro-equity, anti-racist service delivery, talent acquisition, contracting and procurement, public policy, programs, and engagement.

The Pro-Equity Consultants will develop processes and resources for and provide technical assistance to DES Small Agency customers and the DES Pro-Equity Anti-Racism (PEAR) Team to help small agencies successfully apply a pro-equity, racial justice, access, and belonging lens to all agency decision making and meet Executive Order 22-04 requirements. They will help build collaborative, complementary relationships with statewide partners in equity, social justice, and belonging to facilitate systems and policy change statewide.
