Katie Porter here. While we came up short in California’s Senate primary, I’m not giving up the fight. I hope you’ll take a moment to read my note below about my friend Josh Harder, a Democrat running in one of the most competitive races in California, and consider supporting his campaign today.
John,
California is key to the House majority, and one of our state’s most competitive congressional races is Josh Harder’s.
Josh represents a purple district that includes Stockton, and in his recent primary, Josh got just 50% of the vote, while Republican candidates took the other 50%.
Like me, Josh doesn’t take a dime of corporate PAC money and supports banning corporate PACs altogether. It’s a position that isn’t popular with ultra-wealthy corporate executives, which makes your support all the more important. That’s why I’m asking you to pitch in $5 or whatever you can today. Your donation will be split between Josh’s campaign and Truth to Power.

You’ve heard me say it before: There aren’t many parents of young kids in Congress, so when it comes to addressing the child care crisis or advocating for real issues affecting families, we need leaders like Josh.
Republicans and corporate special interest groups are already preparing to spend serious money trying to defeat Josh and flip this seat red. I know that with grassroots support, we can help Josh hold this seat—we must hold it if we’re going to have any chance at flipping the House blue. Josh has an important end of quarter fundraising deadline Sunday at midnight. Is there anything you can give?
