Wanted to give you a quick update: in just two days our books will close and our Federal Election Commission (FEC) report will go public for all to see.
This is the first report of the election year and the last before our primary in June. This report will determine how the rest of the year will look.
It’s no secret that my potential opponents and national dark money groups will be scouring our report looking for any signs of weakness. Extremist groups have made me their target in the past, and a weak FEC report will give them the excuse they need to mount another attack.

The path to a Democratic House majority runs straight through New York and we MUST deliver big wins to protect our democracy and fundamental rights – we need to have a strong report so that I can keep my seat and help Democrats across the country win big.
For too long special interest groups, corporations, and super PACs have flooded and corrupted our elections, our courts, and our opponents’ wallets with undisclosed dark money. My entire career, I have fought to defend the rights of Americans, and I will never back down.
I’m focused on electing strong, pro-democracy Democrats across the country who aren’t afraid to stand up to Trump and his extremist allies’ authoritarian tactics. Democrats, like me, who will call out their hypocrisy and lies and will stand up for reproductive rights, civil liberties and our democracy.
