Memphis-Midsouth DSA

Join Memphis-Midsouth DSA members and friends this Sunday, March 31 at 3pm as we attend and support the Love and Trans Pride March as a part of the Transgender Day of Visibility. The event welcomes allies, so if you want to join in supporting this day please join us!

Meet near the Rainbow Crosswalk at Cooper St at Monroe Avenue in Memphis.

Some in our contingent will be wearing DSA pins so we can be recognized.

Here is a full description from the event page made by the march organizers:

“Let’s make our voices heard and be visible in our joy on the Trans Day of Visibility this year! I’m hosting a march through Midtown in collaboration with Mid-South Trans Nation and OUTMemphis on Sunday, 3/31/24.

“We’ll gather at the corner of Cooper St and Monroe Ave — right at the Pride Progress crosswalk — then walk to OUTMemphis, where we’ll have a few speakers and an open mic opportunity for our gender expansive community. Feel free to bring flags and signs to show your support as we walk!

“If you can’t make it at 3pm, you can join us at any point along the route. We expect to arrive at OUTMemphis around 4pm.”
