I wanted to catch you before you start your holiday weekend so I’ll make this quick.

Our first public FEC deadline of this critical election year is coming up on Sunday night, and right now, we’re trailing our goal by about $12,000. Will you pitch in $10, $25, $50, or whatever works for you right now to help us close the gap?

We all know what’s at stake in this election. If Donald Trump takes back the White House, he’ll stop at nothing to gut Social Security and Medicare, sign a national abortion ban into law, and undermine our democracy to exact political vengeance.

John, this isn’t just about one election. This is about protecting all of the American values we hold dear for future generations, and we can’t afford to take a back seat. 

My campaign has been working day in and day out to make sure we reelect President Biden and elect Democrats up and down the ballot here in Minnesota. But we can’t do that when we miss our fundraising goals. 

I know we say this all the time, but this deadline is really important. The second our report is released publicly, Republicans will comb through it, looking for any sign of weakness. We can’t afford to show any vulnerabilities, especially this year.
