Team, earlier this month, Gov. Murphy announced an $11 million investment in early childhood education across New Jersey.
These funds come from the governor's Fiscal Year 2024 budget and will help bring high-quality preschool to 16 districts across the state, ultimately adding 827 new pre-k seats.
With the Murphy Administration’s proposed Fiscal Year 2025 budget, New Jersey will receive an additional $124 million for our state’s youngest learners. These critical investments are essential to ensuring New Jersey continues to lead the nation with world-class public education for all ages.
Stronger Fairer Forward is proud to see New Jersey invest in early childhood education and is excited for what’s to come as the administration continues to strive to make universal pre-k a reality in our state.
