We know that this is going to be a tough race. Attorney General Andrew Bailey has the full support of our Governor, despite Bailey being a pretty awful lawyer. And his primary opponent, a former official in the Greitens administration, is backed with tons of money from outside of Missouri.
But that also means we have a shot. When August rolls around and one of these candidates emerges from the dumpster fire of attack ads, our opponent will be vulnerable.
We have to be ready. We have to break through the noise right now. When people hear our plans to sue scammers, prosecute corruption, protect our water, enforce workers' rights, make our neighborhoods safer, stop Big Government from interfering in our families, and end puppy mills, they are with us.
This is the office that flipped Republican when every other statewide office was controlled by Democrats. This is the office that has brought some common sense back to other states, that has led to more common sense folks getting elected in their state.
Missouri is a state with a long history of candidates beating the odds.
It's time to beat them again.
