VDP System Transition: Extended Call Center Hours Begin This Weekend

On Saturday, March 30, 2024, Gainwell Technologies becomes the pharmacy benefits administrator for the Texas Vendor Drug Program. The following phone numbers will have extended hours:

• Texas Medicaid Pharmacy and Technical Call Center - 800-435-4165
• Texas Pharmacy Prior Authorization Call Center - 877-PA-TEXAS (877-728-3927)
  • Saturday, March 30, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Central Time)
  • Sunday, March 31, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Central Time)
• Regular business hours begin Monday, April 1:
  • Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. (Central Time)
