That is the opening line from our Youth Voices’ “Trans Youth Deserve Better” letter [[link removed]] — a rallying cry for Trans Day of Visibility. This year, visibility is crucial as trans youth encounter unprecedented threats to their rights and safety. We need to show up, listen, and advocate for them.
Trans Day of Visibility is about celebrating and uplifting the transgender community. But visibility is not just about being seen; it's about creating a world where trans individuals can thrive without fear of judgment or harm. And that is going to take all of us.
