In just three days, we’ll close the books on our quarterly fundraising and then submit a report to the FEC. After that, everyone will be able to see our fundraising numbers.
We need to raise $1.5 million for the quarter to prepare for what we know will be an extremely expensive race to keep Alexandria in Congress. In 2020, AOC’s opponent raised and spent more than $10 million. This year, who knows what our challenger — a former Wall Street investment banker — will spend if he gets onto the ballot.
Alexandria is leading the fight for racial, social, economic, and environmental justice in Congress.
But she can’t do it alone. She needs this entire movement at her side to counter disinformation, defeat her Democratic and Republican opponents, and continue to work for the progressive future we know we deserve.
