Snohomish County has released the annual tree canopy monitoring report for the year 2023. The annual Tree Canopy Monitoring Report monitors the effectiveness of the county’s tree canopy regulations as required in Snohomish County Code (SCC) 30.25.016. The Report provides a summary of the canopy data collected during the development application process, and an analysis of all urban residential permits approved in the past year. Analysis shows that every landscape plan that was approved in 2023 met or exceeded the minimum 20-year tree canopy requirements. Visit the ‘Tree Canopy in Landscaping’ webpage to learn more about the 2023 Annual report on Tree Canopy, canopy regulations, or review past reports. |
