For decades, my district was a reliably Democratic seat. But in 2022, everything changed.

I was named a Frontline congressional candidate, FiveThirtyEight said mine was the most competitive House race in Georgia, and I was in one of the toughest races of my time in public office.

Now, I’m gearing up for another tough election cycle. Over the years, Georgia Republicans have redistricted my seat, they continue to pass voter suppression laws to restrict access to the ballot box, and national Republicans have and will continue to flood our state with dark money — all in an attempt to erase the Democratic progress we’ve made here in Georgia.

After losing critical races in Georgia in 2020 and 2022, Republicans are determined to rollback our progress in this November’s elections.

Friend, we know what happens when Republicans win. They pack the courts with far-right radicals, conspire to overturn election results, and spread shameless lies and misinformation. They focus on putting politics over people, leaving Georgians behind and left to suffer.
