As Muslims, Arabs, and allies, our continued advocacy and voice in Congress is crucial Dear Email, We are thrilled to announce the official launch of the 9th annual National Muslim Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill, organized by the US Council of Muslim Organizations (USCMO) in partnership with Islamic Relief USA and affiliates. This vital advocacy day is scheduled to take place on Monday, April 29, and Tuesday, April 30, at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. To ensure that all meetings are scheduled promptly and efficiently, we urge all interested participants to register for this significant event at least one month in advance. The registration deadline is set for Friday, April 12th. During this pivotal moment in the U.S. political climate, we strongly encourage you to join us for this two-day advocacy event. Delegates, activists, and advocates will engage with congressional offices to address critical issues affecting American Muslims in today's political landscape. The key issues we will be focusing on include: - Combating the alarming increase in anti-Muslim hate crimes.
- Safeguarding the free speech of Americans.
- Ensuring that the U.S. government does not remain complicit in Israel’s genocide and occupation of Palestinians.
- And more.
We are proud to be part of the organizations organizing this advocacy day, and we look forward to your active participation. Register here and spread the word to your loved ones! Thank you for your continued support and commitment to advocacy. In solidarity, American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) |
