I’ll be frank—when I see what’s happening at the national level, I get nervous about the outcome of this year’s general election. But regardless of what happens, we can continue making critical progress on climate in Oregon. That’s why it’s so important that we elect lawmakers who aren’t afraid to take bold action.
Do you know about Oregon’s Political Tax Credit? If you’re eligible, you can give $50 or $100 to the OLCV PAC and get your donation back when you file your taxes. It’s basically a free donation that you can use to help us elect the pro-climate and pro-environment candidates that Oregon needs.
You’re eligible if:
You are an Oregon resident
You will submit an Oregon tax return for 2024
You will make less than $75,000 in 2024 (or $150,000 for joint-filing couples)

We are already hard at work making sure that OLCV-endorsed candidates for the 2024 Primary Election advance on to the general. We’ve got important races, including Attorney General and State Treasurer. There are also important legislative races that we need to win to flip key seats and hold lawmakers who participated in the walkouts accountable.
