In 2023, eleven states passed laws making it harder to cast a mail ballot – and, in 2024, this disturbing trend has continued. [3] Just look at Alabama, where extremist lawmakers just made it harder to Vote By Mail and even criminalized some forms of voter assistance. [4]
John, let’s be clear – these new laws do NOTHING to secure our elections and only serve to make it more difficult for eligible voters to cast a mail ballot.
These anti-voter laws are all rooted in one Big Lie – former President Trump’s easily disproven conspiracy theories about the 2020 presidential election. And now his lie has taken hold at the highest levels of RNC leadership.
