Now that the March Super Tuesday primary election is over, I am embarking on a general election campaign for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives representing San Mateo and San Francisco Counties.

I am proud to stand with President Biden and House Democrats in fighting for our democracy, our climate, and creating an economy that works for everyone, while my opponent is a Republican who would stand with Donald Trump and extreme MAGA forces which have taken over the Republican Party.

I have made fighting for our Democracy and protecting voting rights a top priority during my first term in Congress. I am proud to be a leader on the Task Force on Strengthening Democracy. We are working to protect elections from voter suppression, partisan sabotage, gerrymandering, and dark money. This work builds upon my previous work along with others in the State Assembly to establish universal vote-by-mail in California, and combat dark money in our state elections with passage of the California DISCLOSE Act which I authored.
