John,
Ever since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, Republican states have tried to restrict our reproductive freedoms. Now, another case is before the court that could further narrow access to abortion. Mifepristone, an FDA-approved drug used in over half of all abortions, is being challenged. This case could have dramatic implications not just for abortion but for the entire regulatory power of the FDA.
If they get their way, mifepristone and a wide range of other medications could become unavailable based on the whims of conservative jurists. And with the presidential election looming, a Trump administration could appoint more radical conservative judges that would ignore medical science in favor of political agendas. This can’t go unopposed, John.
We need your support to fight back against the GOP’s radical anti-health agenda. This November, the battle for Congress and the Presidency will have to go through North Carolina. Can you chip in $5 or anything you can spare to help us in our fight against Republicans as they try to restrict abortion access in front of the Supreme Court?
