Trout stockings continues across state

It's spring, and that means great fishing. Especially for trout, as Nebraska Game and Parks has been busy stocking these fish at public waters across the state. Most stockings took place in March, but there are still some trout releases planned for April.

Additional incentives offered for CRP signups

Nebraska Game and Parks is offering additional incentives to landowners who sign up for the Conservation Reserve Program.

Agricultural producers and private landowners can enroll in the CRP general signup through March 29. However, through Nebraska Game and Parks' Berggren Plan, additional financial incentives are being offered for acres signed in eight priority areas that benefit pheasants.
