Cori Bush is being challenged for her seat by a Democratic opponent who takes money from AIPAC and their anti-abortion donors.

Justice Democrats

John,

As right-wing Republicans continue to attack reproductive rights and the U.S. Supreme Court considers restricting access to the abortion pill Mifepristone, Justice Democrats Rep. Cori Bush and the rest of the Squad are fighting back.

Cori is calling out the GOP for limiting our freedom to decide if and when to start a family. This week, she became the first Democratic member of Congress to demand a repeal of the Comstock Act, an outdated 1873 ‘zombie law’ that Republicans are trying to use to ban abortion pills and procedures nationwide.

She also called out her Democratic primary opponent who claims to be pro-choice while accepting campaign contributions from the AIPAC network, which is mostly funded by the same right-wing megadonors who support anti-abortion Republicans Josh Hawley and Donald Trump:

Tweet from Cori Bush: Meet my opponent. He went from running against Missouri’s biggest anti-abortion crusader, Josh Hawley, to now sharing the same anti-abortion GOP donors as Josh Hawley & Donald Trump. You can’t be FOR protecting abortion rights while taking money from anti-abortion extremists.

Cori knows firsthand the crucial importance of being able to make decisions about one’s own body, health, and family: in 2021, she courageously shared her personal story of getting an abortion after she was sexually assaulted as a teenager.

She is the only true progressive Democrat in this race for Missouri’s 1st congressional district with a track record of fighting for reproductive freedom and bodily autonomy.

We can’t let a pro-abortion champion be replaced in Congress by someone who takes money from the same people trying to rip away abortion rights. Help Cori defeat her primary challenger this summer by splitting $5 or more to her campaign and Justice Democrats now!

Anything you can contribute to help re-elect Cori this year is deeply appreciated.

In solidarity,
