John, it's Annie, with the Kansas Dems Finance Team, and I have a Fundraising Update.

We're almost a Quarter of the way through 2024, and we're only about 7 months away from Election Day – and that means there's only 7 months left to fundraise before the biggest election of the year.

Our first End of Quarter Fundraising Deadline of 2024 is on SUNDAY, and we're still $4,900 away from reaching our goal for the Party.

John, this is a critical deadline for every aspect of our operation. Reaching (or not reaching) this goal is going to have a huge impact on our Party's capabilities AND on our candidates' campaigns. Can you pitch in any amount to help set the Kansas Democrats up for success this year?

As the Kansas Democratic Party, we have functions that span every race up and down the ballot:

We're supporting candidates for State House and Senate, Congress, State Board of Education, and local office – by sharing our data, sending our staff and volunteers to talk to voters in the field, and providing direct support so candidates can run the strongest races possible. 

The Kansas Democratic Party has one long term goal: to elect more Kansas Democrats – and that takes more than just aiding candidates with time and money, John. 

We're also supporting county parties, investing in training, recruiting candidates across Kansas, and growing our grassroots coalition of supporters in and outside of Kansas.

We've got a lot of things to keep up with at the Kansas Democratic Party this year, and we're going to need some help to get the best chance at winning this fall.

John, we know we're asking for a lot, but it's for good reason. Our End of Quarter Fundraising Goal is in place because we know what it will take to get Democrats elected in Kansas – we did it with Governor Kelly and Rep. Davids in 2020 and 2022, and we know we will again in 2024. Can you chip in today to help us raise the $4,900 we need to reach our goal before SUNDAY?
