The legacy media is giving Trump’s wall-to-wall coverage again, ignoring important local news stories and doubling down on the kind of horse race coverage that normalizes Trump’s authoritarian behavior.
Trump and his MAGA cronies are flooding social media with misinformation and crying “censorship” whenever they are held accountable.
Local newsroom closures and layoffs are leaving communities in ‘news deserts’ — without a trustworthy source of information about the election.

At COURIER, we fearlessly combat the misinformation that’s rampant online and in right-wing media.

Our reporters are on the ground in ten battleground states covering local issues that matter. Unlike other outlets, we’ll never sacrifice our values for clicks or to raise our bottom line.

With your help, we can continue our mission to provide factual coverage of local issues to communities that need it most. We plan to expand our coverage by hiring more reporters and opening a Texas newsroom before election day.
