John – I’ll get right to it, because I know your time is valuable. Our first Federal Election Commission (FEC) public filing deadline of the election year (and since the terrible ruling that has sent IVF’s future in a tailspin) is this weekend. Let me quickly break down what this means:
This is our first chance this election year to show anti-science Republicans all over the country that we are ready for November.
It’s important that we hit this goal of $12,000 to show extremists—including my own far-right opponent—and their backers that we are standing strong.
The GOP are launching countless attacks on all aspects of reproductive health care and plotting to cut funding for Social Security and Medicare. We have to win to protect these important issues from extremism.
We simply cannot afford to elect irresponsible leaders who don’t respect science or their constituents’ opinions in 2024.
There’s so much on the line in this election, and we’re only going to win this with the support of people like YOU – people who care about California and the future of our country.
