I'm starting to worry.

We are facing one of the biggest free speech threats in our
nation's history - one that could shut down free speech on social
media and manipulate our upcoming elections - but we still
haven't received your directive to the U.S. Senate telling them
to oppose this draconian assault that already passed the House of
Representatives.

But if you haven't signed because you aren't sure what this is
really about, please read on.

The so-called "TikTok ban" is much more than it appears.

It's true it would force Tiktok's parent company to divest within
six months or the app would be banned in the United States,
affecting the income streams of over 5 million American small
businesses and nearly 170 million other Americans who use the
platform.

But buried in the legal details, the bill goes much further.

This is just a new packaging of something called the "RESTRICT
Act," which was also marketed as a "TikTok ban" but very openly
stated it gave the government massive power to shut down any
platform that didn't censor its users.

Thanks to the outcry of patriots like you, that bill was defeated
last year.

This new bill does the same, but more covertly - unless you
understand the legal mumbo-jumbo.

It would ban any of what they call a "foreign
adversary-controlled application," which is not just an app - it
can be any website and any social network of significant size.

What does it mean to be "controlled" by a foreign adversary? It
means "subject to the direction or control of" anything - could
be a person, a group of investors, any entity - in one of these
"foreign adversary counties."

What does "subject to the direction or control of" mean? They
don't say.

Think about it! We live in an age of weaponization of the legal
system.

Imagine Merrick Garland - or any future U.S. Attorney General -
hauling Twitter into a rigged Washington, D.C. courthouse,
claiming that because Elon Musk owns a factory in Shanghai, he
has to divest from the company because China has "direction" over
him?

Remember, prominent U.S. officials - up to and including Senate
Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) - have openly threatened
social media companies with "disfavorable" legislation unless
they censor speech on their platforms.

How damaging would it be to any up-and-coming platform targeted
for supporting free speech - Rumble or Locals, for example - just
to be hauled into a sprawling investigation?

If you don't think this is what they would do, you haven't been
paying attention.

This is an age of weaponization. Any ambiguity or discretion in
these laws will absolutely be used by a creative attorney general
- just like the PATRIOT Act was weaponized against the American
people!

Donald Trump is labeled a Russian asset every day. He owns a
social network. Did Fani Willis care about the narrow definition
of RICO before bringing creative charges against him?

The so-called "TikTok ban" is about one thing: controlling speech
on the Internet. That's why it's so critical you contact your
U.S. Senators right now and tell them to OPPOSE this assault on
free speech!

If the bill advocates are really so worried about your private
information being given to the Chinese government, why don't they
seem to have a problem with your personal and private information
being sold every day by other social media outlets, your cell
phone provider, or your cable company?

As one author put it, "It's not that the U.S. government wants to
protect you from spying and data theft and manipulation. No, the
people behind the Russian collusion hoax, and the Kavanaugh hoax,
and the natural origin COVID hoax, and the illegal warrantless
spying, and the forced transing of your children-they want to be
the ones spying on you and stealing your data and poisoning the
minds of your children."

The same politicians pushing this anti-speech legislation have
done NOTHING to stop federal bureaucrats from illegally spying on
you and me when American companies - social media companies like
Facebook, your cable provider, your cell phone company - sell
your private data to them.

This is also a special interest deal for competing American Big
Tech companies like Google and Facebook, whose hatred of
liberty-minded American principles and censorship of dissent is
well documented.

Tell your senators to say NO to the massive ban on free speech!

As Dr. Paul warned in a recent email, this could come up in the
U.S. Senate with little notice, Patriot.

To date, Chuck Schumer hasn't given any indication of when the
bill might be put on the Senate floor for a vote.

It's very possible Schumer will RUSH this bill to the floor when
the U.S. House moves on Ukraine spending, since he knows our
focus will have to be divided.

That's why sending your directive RIGHT NOW is so critical.

Congress.

This bill sailed through the irresponsible House, but the U.S.
Senate is getting pressured from both sides. We need to make our
