Building a more just and regenerative energy system at the Responsible Renewable Energy Summit

Our energy system requires a substantial transformation, which needs collaboration with change actors across the renewable energy sector. At Forum for the Future, we are actively engaging with these stakeholders to redefine the purpose of the energy system.

In collaboration with the National Solar Energy Federation of India, Forum's Responsible Energy Initiative India recently hosted the second Responsible Renewable Energy Summit. Engaging with more than 150 stakeholders, the event focused on responsible adoption of renewable energy in India, addressing financier priorities, circular innovations, and people-centric business models.

On this year’s International Women's Day, we celebrated the women who inspire us

Hear perspectives from our Managing Directors in the US, India, Southeast Asia and the UK:

“I am inspired by adrienne maree brown. Her work, specifically her book, Emergent Strategy, informs my work every day. Her thoughts on how to live in a world that is constantly changing while doing the work of change-making is germane and enlightening.” - Samantha Veide, Managing Director – US
“Suzanne Simard, author of Finding the Mother Tree and pioneer in understanding how trees and ecosystems interact is such an inspiration to so many of us. She changed the face of forestry, fighting an entrenched system, standing up for a better connection between all elements of nature, including us.” - Anna Biswas, Managing Director - India
“I'm inspired by unsung heroines - the many women who, everyday, carry multiple responsibilities, multiple challenges that life throws at them, and still find ways to keep it all together.” - Sumi Dhanarajan, Managing Director - Southeast Asia
“Michelle Obama really inspires me. She’s smart, grounded, funny and brought such humanity to the role of First Lady. I was inspired by her stories of bringing up children as a high-flying lawyer and then in the White House and think she’s an amazing example of women at our best - intelligent, nurturing, and with a brilliant sense of fun.” - Zoe Le Grand, Managing Director - UK
