You may be surprised to hear this, but Judge Merchan's gag order in Trump's porn star hush money trial did NOT stop Trump from opening his big mouth (or smashing his tiny thumbs in this case) and attacking the judge AND his daughter less than a day later. “Maybe the Judge is such a hater because his daughter makes money by working to ‘Get Trump,’ and when he rules against me over and over again, he is making her company, and her, richer and richer. How can this be allowed?” wrote Trump on Truth Social. Now it's up to the judge to decide if those statements target the “family members of any counsel or staff member” and have the “intent to materially interfere” in the case...and if he's willing to bring the hammer down and finally shut this guy up.

"[Attorney General Merrick] Garland’s working with the Deep State who’s working with the liberal mainstream media to try to indoctrinate into people’s minds that there’s no evidence," complained Comer, who ignored the fact that the impeachment probe has been roundly criticized by everyone, including hosts on right-wing propaganda networks like Fox and Newsmax. While "the Deep State ate my homework" might fly on Fox, there's no getting around the fact that Comer's sham investigation has been a colossal failure, and even he's admitting that everybody knows it.

Republicans bigwigs are internally losing it as their presidential candidate, currently facing some half a billion in fines and a defendant in three major trials, does not seem to be very interested in building the ground game needed to compete in a general election. In the key battleground state of Michigan, the local party complains that the Trump camp and the RNC — now helmed by Trump's daughter-in-law Lara— has transferred no money to the state party, has made no effort to build programs to court voters of color (lol), and have no general election field staff in place. It’s much the same in presidential battleground states across the country. On the other hand, this month alone, Biden opened 100 new offices and added more than 350 new staffers in swing states from Arizona to Georgia to Pennsylvania, It's easy to see who is taking the job of running for president seriously, and by that measure who will take the job of *being* the president seriously — and Trump, like always, is preoccupied with himself.

You will not be surprised at all to learn that Morrow has also worked for "Liberty First Grassroots, a PAC that has promoted school shooting denialism, 9/11-trutherism, and the outrageous conspiracy that President Obama's grandfather was — what the f*ck — Adolf Hitler. This is the woman that the Republican Party wants to put in charge of PUBLIC SCHOOLS, which, by the way this group also believes is how the Illuminati mold the brains of our children. This is also the second major GOP North Carolina candidate with a bizarro Hitler thing; we need to shut down the NCGOP until we can figure out what is going on.

Jon Stewart rips into the New York Post for absurd story questioning ethics of his penthouse sale
Stewart recently made headlines for mocking Donald Trump and his defenders for claiming all his fraud was a "victimless crime," which prompted a reprisal attack from the tabloid goblins at the New York Post. The Post decided to pick up a tweet by right-wing commentor Tim Pool which accused Stewart of fraud in the sale of his penthouse, which sold for $17.5 million but was assessed at a value of just $1.882 million. The two numbers are entirely unrelated; some rich person merely paid more money than the penthouse was supposedly worth. It's called the free market, bozo! Stewart was quick to fire back, tweeting "OMG!! I've been caught doing something not remotely similar to Trump! I guess all I need to do now is start a fraud college, steal classified docs, bankrupt casinos, pay hush money, grab pussies, discriminate in housing, cheat at golf and foment insurrection and you'll revere me!"
