The United States has lost a great patriot. Senator Joseph Lieberman died Wednesday from complications after he fell in his Connecticut home. He was 82. I wish all 100 US Senators would emulate Mr. Lieberman. A man of faith, courage, and honesty, he loved his country to the extent that he put it over his own self-interest. You may remember that the Senator campaigned for John McCain rather than Barrack Obama in 2008. He believed Mr. Obama was too liberal and inexperienced to run the country.
