Congratulations go out to Vicki Piper, who won her first national weightlifting event in the women's division and who also used to be a man born with all the natural and biological strength advantages men have. It was not a glass ceiling-shattering performance. Women born as men have been destroying so much of the competition in women's (and girls') athletic contests, there's nothing special about it anymore.
The way it works, there are two lifts: a snatch and a clean and jerk. The heaviest lift is recorded. To be clear, "jerk" refers to a type of lift and not what you would call a man who robs women of opportunities.
