Here's what's going on:

There’s been a lot happening in Congress and back home in Wisconsin over the last few weeks. I know that we’re all very busy and it’s difficult to keep up with the news, so let me give you a brief update about what’s been happening lately.

Joe Biden’s Visit to Wisconsin

Joe Biden recently visited Milwaukee. He came to tout his record on the economy, but we know that Biden’s economy simply isn’t working for us right now.

The numbers don’t lie. Since Joe Biden took office:

- Inflation is up 17%

- The typical household spends more than $11,400 annually

- Mortgage payments on median priced homes have doubled

Joe Biden’s policies are continuing to hurt us in Wisconsin. The contrast between Democrats and Republicans view on the economy will be clear this November.

Private Money Influencing Wisconsin Elections

I’ve spent the last year working on developing policy that boosts voter confidence by implementing commonsense election integrity reforms. That’s why I introduced the Americans’ Confidence in Elections Act.

One of the key election integrity provisions in my bill includes banning private funding, commonly known as Zuckerbucks, from election administration. Private election funding distorts Americans’ confidence in our elections, and we’ve seen that first-hand in Wisconsin.

Last week we saw this problem re-emerge in Milwaukee when it was reported ([link removed]) the Milwaukee Election Commission was seeking $800,000 in private money ahead of the 2024 election. In the past, this private money has financed get-out-the-vote efforts in Democrat-leaning cities and counties. I believe this practice should be stopped.

The good news is that on April 2nd we’ll have a chance to ban private money from Wisconsin elections by voting YES on Constitutional Amendment questions 1 and 2. This will be our best opportunity to keep dark money out of our elections.

An Update on Our Race

House Republicans currently hold a two-seat majority. It’s one of the smallest majorities in American history. National Democrats aren’t wasting any time trying to take back control, and the First District of Wisconsin is one of their top targets.

As you might’ve seen, they’re running misleading ads against me in the Milwaukee media market. Their most recent ad buy brings their total to $1.7 million spent against me on Milwaukee TV ads in the last 6 months.

In 2023, more money was spent attacking me than any Republican in Congress.

Their most recent attack against me was labeled MOSTLY FALSE by PolitiFact.

I’m going to keep working hard to bring our conservative message to every corner of our district, but we’ll need an army of volunteers. If you want to help us out, click the link below:
