Under cover of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Trump administration is cynically moving quickly to dismantle virtually every bedrock environmental safeguard we have. Just as coronavirus was starting to sweep the U.S., they put out a new proposal that will stop policymakers from using vast swaths of data from public health studies.

In the middle of a pandemic, they're restricting access to science. This is what we're up against.

With no set end date for the polluters' compliance holiday provided by the Trump administration, we need to work quickly to get the EPA back online. Every day it stays in place is a day pollution will be ramped up — putting public health directly at risk, especially in the midst of a respiratory disease public health crisis.
