Hey, John! In case we haven’t met, I’m Sarah Lane, and I’m the Executive Director here at the Jane Fonda Climate PAC.

Jane and I believe in full transparency, and we want to keep you informed about everything happening in and around the organization. There have been a lot of moving parts so I wanted to clue you in on what we’ve been up to.

First off, we hired two new staff members! This would not have been possible without your support. We brought on a talented Director of Social Media who is working tirelessly to get the word out about our climate candidates and move folks to the polls.

We also just hired a Field Program Manager to launch Jane PAC’s first-ever field organizing program. I’m a firm believer in investing in grassroots, door-to-door, field organizing. This is how we can turn out voters for down-ballot elections and move the needle on competitive races. We will be recruiting volunteers to go door-to-door in critical races to help our climate champions win BIG in November.

While we’re scaling up to go bigger than ever before, we are a bit short of our end-of-quarter fundraising goal. But here’s some good news: We’ve secured a commitment from an anonymous donor who will match every donation dollar for dollar up to $15,000 towards that goal. This match is a great opportunity to double your impact and help us meet our crucial target.

Jane PAC's mission is simple: replace the politicians who are deep in the pocket of the fossil fuel industry with climate champions who will fight like hell to move our country in the right direction.

The Jane Fonda Climate PAC works to elect climate champions all around the country, mostly in down-ballot races like state legislatures, mayors, city council members, and county executives that can have major impacts on climate action in their communities.

But Jane can’t do this work on her own; none of us can.
