Autana

Joining us from Autana will be Pastry-Chef Maria Hernandez, who was born in Maracaibo, Venezuela and raised in both Barquisimeto and Caracas. She co-owns Autana alongside her father, Levi, and has played an instrumental role in the development of Autana's concept; serving traditional Venezuelan cuisine at an upscale level, as the food deserves.

Autana has been making a name for itself since it opened during the pandemic and jumped up Philadelphia Magazine's list of 50 best restaurants to #24 this year!

El Chingon in Philadelphia aims to embody the essence of Mexican dining in one unforgettable experience. They were named in the New York Times 2023 list of restaurants to be most excited about, and Chef Carlos Aparicio has been named a 2024 James Beard Award Semifinalist!
