I’m being serious. What can I say?

The honest truth is that grassroots fundraising to defend the Senate and White House has slowed down dramatically since 2020 and the midterm elections, and we’re facing the toughest Senate map in 6 years.

Republicans are all but guaranteed to flip at least one seat red. They need just one more seat to retake the Senate majority if we defend the White House. And we’re defending three states former President Trump won in 2020. The math is really tough. But the odds aren’t insurmountable — especially with you on our side.

I’m not even going to comment on the way Republicans have once again fallen in line with their perennial nominee Donald Trump. But you know he’s out there. What he’s been saying. What it would mean to have a spiteful, anti-democratic MAGA bully back in the White House. Not good.

So we have to prepare. Today.
