John, while the Biden administration meets with Israel's Defense Minister, who has a “long wish list” of weapons, Bernie is advocating for the clear moral choice. Bernie’s saying no more weapons or funding for Netanyahu’s war. Bernie’s calling for an immediate end to Israel’s blockade of humanitarian aid for Gaza.
As Bernie wrote to President Biden recently, Israel’s restrictions on humanitarian aid violate international law. And any further U.S. funding and weapons in support of Netanyahu’s atrocities would violate U.S. law — the Foreign Assistance Act bars military support from going to any nation that restricts the delivery of humanitarian aid.
Stand with Bernie: Not another dime for Netanyahu’s war. No more U.S. weapons to bomb Gaza.
As Bernie said on MSNBC recently: no matter what propaganda is coming from Netanyahu’s government, it is crystal clear that Israel is blocking aid to Gaza.
Yet, the U.S. State Department is following along with Netanyahu’s propaganda despite reports from the United Nations, Human Rights Watch, OxFam, and others showing that Israel is blocking food, water, and medical aid.
“To pretend that Israel is not violating international law or interfering with U.S. humanitarian aid is absurd on its face,” Bernie said.
Children are starving and people are dying because of American made weapons and failed American policy. President Biden has sent Israel more than $570 million of weapons since the bombing campaign against Gaza began five and a half months ago.
President Biden and Congress must listen to Bernie. No more American weapons and taxpayer dollars for the war on Gaza.
Stand with Bernie: End U.S. complicity in the brutal war on Gaza. President Biden and Congress must end all support for Netanyahu’s war and Israel’s severe restrictions on humanitarian aid to Gaza.
When we organize, we win.
