Unlike most campaigns which have already been fundraising for over a year, our campaign is rebuilding from the ground up after our special election victory. We had to face millions of dollars of National Republican spending during the special, which means we had to use nearly every resource we had to win. Now, we have under 8 months to run a winning campaign in November.

So, we have to start out strong for the general election. That’s why my team set a $25,000 goal for Sunday’s end-of-quarter deadline. We need to post a strong showing before this quarter’s fundraising numbers go public to make sure we win in November.
