In a loss for voters, federal appeals court reversed and remanded a decision ordering Pennsylvania to count otherwise eligible mail-in ballots where voters forgot to write a date on the return envelope. The case will continue in a lower court.
In another loss for voters, a federal court upheld Florida's congressional map, ruling the districts are constitutional and do not discriminate against Black voters in North Florida.
In a victory for voters, the Montana Supreme Court struck down four voter suppression laws, ruling the statutes disproportionately impacted young voters, voters with disabilities and Native American voters.

Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R) vetoed a bill passed by the state's Democratic-controlled Legislature to ban guns near polling places, voter registration sites and other election locations.
