John, we knew that anti-abortion Republicans wouldn’t stop after overturning Roe.
Yesterday, the Supreme Court heard oral arguments in a case that will determine the future of Mifepristone, the most commonly used abortion pill in our country, and abortion access nationwide.
Fortunately, recent reporting indicates that SCOTUS is inclined to allow mifepristone to stay on the market. But this case should have never been taken up by the Court in the first place, John.
The GOP’s cruel attacks on our bodies will continue, and we can’t leave these decisions up to the unpredictable, arch-conservative Supreme Court.
That’s why we must continue to build power and protect reproductive rights in the states.
Will you make a gift of $24 or any amount you can to help us win urgent elections and elect progressive champions who will fight to protect abortion access?

Reproductive access is a fundamental right. Full stop.
Since the fall of Roe, our community has raised millions of dollars, reached hundreds of thousands of voters, and won crucial elections — our hard work paid off.
In Michigan, our efforts helped elect a Democratic trifecta, which repealed a 1931 abortion ban. And in Virginia, we built a brick wall to block Gov. Youngkin’s 15-week abortion ban — and kept abortion accessible in the South — by flipping the General Assembly blue.
Right now, we’re laying the groundwork in 7 presidential battleground states, where we have the golden opportunity to have an outsized impact on electing pro-choice Democrats at both the state and federal levels.
This is how we can protect reproductive rights. Can you make a gift today to power this important work?
Together, we’ll fight to stop the anti-abortion movement and their attacks on our reproductive freedom state by state.
In solidarity,
The team at Sister District
