I joined the Navy after 9/11 and served in Iraq. I believe firmly in the ideals of America – I risked my life to defend them.

That is why Eugene’s story is so powerful to me.

When Eugene and his brother decided to do their patriotic duty and stand up to Donald Trump at the risk of their decades-long military careers, I understood that Eugene was the kind of person that we all want in leadership.

A leader who will fight for what’s right. A leader who will face tough fights head-on. A leader who isn’t willing to back down when your rights are at stake.

That’s the kind of leader we need in Congress, and that’s why I’m endorsing Eugene in this campaign.
