John,

I bet we all are feeling it. So much of our democracy is at stake this year.

But I can't help but think about how this grassroots team has shown it's up to the task — how we've helped secure big, game-changing wins in the fight for fair maps. There's a lot of work to do to defend our democracy in the months ahead.

So let me ask: Can you donate now to help the NDR PAC reach our $30,000 end-of-quarter goal to help win the fight for fair maps? [[link removed]]

We are at a crossroads, John. One path, paved with fairness, leads to a future in which everyone is equally represented in our nation’s democracy. The other, paved with political greed and opportunism, promises a future where extremist politicians can bend the rules in their favor to subvert the will of hardworking voters.

The decisions we make and the actions we take in the coming months will determine which path we tread. Your contribution right now will help ensure we have the resources we need to meet this moment head on — please chip in right now. [[link removed]]

I won’t sugarcoat the truth: we already face an uphill battle. Several states — including crucial battlegrounds like Florida, North Carolina, and Texas — entered the new year with racially and politically biased maps. At the same time, anti-democratic forces are still advancing legal challenges that threaten to undermine the Voting Rights Act of 1965 — the crown jewel of the civil rights movement.

These affronts to our democracy are part of extreme anti-democratic forces’ decades-long effort to silence the voices of their opposition — especially people of color — and unfairly manipulate the rules to keep extremist, right-wing politicians in power. But this year, we have an opportunity to push back.

Fair maps are on the ballot this and every election cycle, and hundreds of thousands (including the folks in this dedicated community) are primed and ready to fight for fair and equal representation. The National Democratic Redistricting PAC is proud to be at your side in this fight.

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again: when maps are fair, Democrats will do just fine.

That’s why the NDR PAC is committed to fighting tooth and nail to protect and defend fair maps against MAGA Republicans’ ongoing agenda to undermine our democracy. In the months ahead, we will continue to push for redistricting reforms that ensure fair maps, challenge unfair maps, and build support for sworn Democracy Defenders in crucial state races — but we can’t do it without your support.

So please, make a donation before Sunday’s FEC deadline to help us reach our first end-of-quarter goal of this critical election year. [[link removed]]

Thank you for walking the path of fairness with me. Your commitment to this work means the world.

Warmly,

Eric H. Holder, Jr.
